Christian Haas

The designer Christian Haas was born in Germany, where he also studied, opening his studio in Munich in 2000. In 2008, Christian Haas moved to Paris, where he is currently based. His portfolio is very diversified, including interior fittings, lights, furniture, accessories and pieces of creative design. All his creations are the expression of a fine balance between a specific function and a creative desire, innovation and the everyday; a playful harmony between sobriety and style, pure and inspired lines. "Buyers now expect a global well-designed concept responding to their needs," he says.

Little world, a decorative paperweight object, is the result of a fruitful collaboration between the crystal-maker Theriesenthal (Bavaria) and Christian Haas, at the initiative of the Gallery S. Bensimon. A piece of crystal is engraved with the world of the forest floor, flying and crawling insects, various leaves, mosses, etc. – each object is totally unique, by nature and decoration.
